The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) approved Math Nation and STEMscopes Math for statewide adoption in the fall 2025 mathematics instructional materials adoption. The core math curriculum programs from Accelerate Learning earned the state’s top recommendation rating — Recommended Primary — for alignment with the content, philosophy, and instructional strategies of the Utah Core Standards for Mathematics. Math Nation received the Recommended Primary rating for grades K-12, and STEMscopes Math received the rating for grades K-8.

Accelerate Learning’s STEMscopes Science study has earned Level 3 certification for alignment with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) standards. It is one of only five science programs listed on Evidence for ESSA, which provides information on programs meeting ESSA evidence standards.

Math Nation-Washington is now available at no cost to all Washington public schools and districts, thanks to a partnership between Accelerate Learning and the state of Washington. The online learning resources, which fully cover Washington's Mathematics K–12 Learning Standards, are funded by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).

Lovett Elementary sixth-grader Alexander Baugher has won the top prize in the Math Nation Test Yourself! Challenge in Mississippi. Baugher will be presented with an iPad at the school’s student awards ceremony on May 15 at 9 a.m.

Since 2013, nearly all 50 states have adopted the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) or similar standards to advance science education for all students. The National Institute for STEM Education (NISE) has announced that its Micro Certificates and online courses have been approved by the Alabama State Department of Education and can be applied toward the four PD days required under TEAMS contracts.

The NCST is one of three co-winners in the professional development category. SmartBrief readers nominated the solutions and platforms they find most effective, and selected their favorite edtech programs in several categories.

School districts that used STEMscopes Texas, the most widely used science curriculum in Texas, for eighth grade science instruction outperformed other districts on the 2020-21 State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAARTM). In a new report, results show that the STEMscopes districts achieved higher science passing rates on the STAAR grade eight science assessment compared to non-STEMscopes districts.

In March of 2021, Learning List completed and published its review of STEMscopes Math for grades 3-5.

Accelerate Learning today announced that two products from its STEMscopes suite of STEM curriculum offerings have been named finalists in the 2021 SIIA CODiE Awards. STEMscopes Coding is a finalist in the Best Coding and Computational Thinking Solution category. STEMscopes NGSS 3D was named a finalist in two categories, Best Foundational Science Instructional Solution and Best Advanced Science Instructional Solution.

To help schools provide opportunities for hands-on exploration this summer, Accelerate Learning has introduced STEMscopes DIVE-in Engineering Kits. Introduced in 2017, in partnership with the New York Hall of Science (NYSCI), STEMscopes DIVE-in Engineering helps elementary and middle school educators teach engineering design in an authentic makerspace in classrooms and afterschool programs.
