A recent study published in The Journal of Women's Health shows that initiation rituals and rites of passage play a significant role in fostering emotional well-being and self-empowerment for women, especially when they provide opportunities for solitude, reflection, and reconnection with nature. These practices have been shown to support the healing of old wounds and help women rediscover their authentic selves, leading to a deeper sense of inner strength and purpose.
